Every Wednesday our bands are heading online to answer your questions around some of the key areas of what it means to be a Christian.
This week Lucy, Gina, Dan and Sammy discussed what it means to be chosen – how and why our identity is shaped by what we believe.
If you haven’t already check out their discussion here it is:
Have you ever stopped and thought how we’re surrounded by people, media and things that are constantly saying things to us about who we are! They shape us, and whilst this can be a great thing it can also be damaging if it takes us away from the truth of who we are.
Our friends who run a program called Respect ME look at what the Bible says about our identity and the truths of how God sees each of us. You’ll be blown away by what it says.
Have a read through some of them, write them down, make them your phone wallpaper. Then time and again keep coming back to these statements to remind yourself of the truth of your identity. And how loved you are.

This week we looked at the way following Jesus changes the way we see ourselves. It also changes the way we see other people. God wants us to build healthy relationships with our families, friends, teachers and other people we meet. Sometimes it’s hard work – but it’s part of what makes being a Christian so exciting!
So make sure to check out the next session – every Wednesday at 5 pm!
